Dear customers,

As we continuously aim to enhance the SAP Conversational AI platform with improved functionalities to make bot building easier and efficient, we wish to inform you of major features planned for the release in May and the associated downtime.

What features are planned?

SAP Conversational AI currently offers a community edition of the platform, where you can all build your first bots quickly and easily. With the May 2020 release, to allow paid customers to have all their chatbots and data securely isolated in their own tenant, we are introducing a brand-new Enterprise edition! You can find more information on this new offer here (https://cai.tools.sap/blog/multi-tenancy-activation-changes/).

To make sure that your bots and content get the highest levels of security in the market, we are also changing our login system! All logins to SAP Conversational AI will be done with SAP ID Service. This will fully leverage the standard authentication mechanism provided by SAP Cloud Platform. You can find more information here (https://cai.tools.sap/blog/new-login-system/).

When is the planned downtime?

The introduction of these two new features unfortunately require us to plan a downtime period:

From
📅 Saturday, May 30th at 4:00 AM (UTC)
until
📅 Sunday, May 31st at 4:00 AM (UTC)

The maximum downtime will be 24 hours.

What will be the impact?

During this period, you will not be able to access the platform, your bots or the bot builder. Your bots will also be unresponsive during the maintenance.

What do you need to do?
There is nothing to do on your side.

We only encourage you to communicate with your users beforehand to inform them of this downtime since your bots will not be running.

Whom should I contact for support?
